The game is frustratingly unfair for children not permitted to make purchases. The game orders a smoothie that cannot be made without buying a product. It is very unfortunate

My 5 year old enjoys the game so I bought all the dessert for 14.99, way more than I usually do. Only to find out that does not unlock all of the game. For an additional 6.99 we can unlock all of the tools. That is ridiculous, we will just stick to the free versions from this app developer.

My daughter with special needs loves her iPad, and has hundreds of apps on the thing. But Strawberry Shortcake is officially banned from this day forward. Im sure she will bug me ceaselessly but I will NOT let her spend FIFTEEN dollars on all of the desserts. And never again will a SS app be downloaded onto her device. No other kids games in the App Store cost this much! If everyone refuses to pay this extortion, they will have to reduce their cost.

Budge designs these free apps to do exactly what they wants you do to - download them, let you play a few times, then charge an outrageous amount to be able to continue. My daughter cant even complete the first order because she doesnt have a freakin orange straw. For the love..... They should just make this a paid app and at least be up front about it. Save yourself and your kids the headache - dont download.

It teaches you how to make different snacks and if you do it on the phone it gives you practice

This is far too costly for a childs game. They cannot unlock any other features without spending at least $3.00. Dont waste your money!

Ten minutes after purchasing the game, I was approached by my daughter about buying/unlocking an item that was necessary to complete the first level. Really? Level 1? Id rather pay a couple of bucks upfront for a game that has a few days of play value, rather than feel duped into spending unknown amounts of money to unlock key aspects of a game. No, thanks. My child and I are both disappointed in this one.

I like the game but you should unlock everything . When you dont nobody gets the next dessert without buying a bunch of stuff. Thats a waste of money to me.

Its pretty sad that after level 2 you have to pay out $3.00 to advance. But its fun app if they arent playing it as a game but just making up smoothies.

When ever I play this Im always havering the smoothie for my self! I want the orders to change every time you play! And every time you complete with all the stars you unlock the next dessert. Thanks xox :)

We have the 1.99$ Maverick food apps with no in-app purchases and in comparison this app is dreadful. Every 2nd word out of strawberry shortcakes mouth trys to sell the 10$ upgrade to the kids. The graphics are low quality, the interactive is minimal and the in-app $10 cost is ridiculous for what is provided. I deleted it within 5 min.

Is 100% is keeping with the good eating habits Im teaching my granddaughter. Shes almost 4 and loves making her smoothies!

Its a fun game until you get to the smoothie that needs an orange straw. Whats the point of playing if you have to pay for everything you do? A childs game should not cost this much.

This app would be fun except for the fact that it doesnt work. I emailed the the App regarding my issue and never even got a response. What a joke! Dont waste your money.

Ok this app is great till the the first two games you have to pay for the other stuff and you cant even pass threw to the others if u dont but the other things

Love the idea of this game, but you cant get anywhere without purchasing stuff. Totally not worth it for a simple kids game! :(

This app is soooooooooooooooo cool I love it

My daughter loves this app! She started using it when she was 3 1/2 yrs old. Its user friendly and she did most of it without any help, or just help the first time. The app is very well written. Unfortunately you only get access to one feature and the rest you have to purchase. But even just this feature holds my daughters interest. Sure she asks for more, but when I said she could only use the smoothie feature, she was still happy to use it. I finally did decide to add the in app purchases and shes loved those too.
